ArtSTALK: We complain during award shows so you’re not alone

Welcome to another first for ArtSTALK: Our first live blog. OK, we know that’s not the coolest term in this Tweety, Foursquarey age, but it’s what we got. ArtSTALK Managing Editor Meryn Fluker will provide some snarky commentary on all things Hollywood during tonight’s Golden Globes ceremony. And, thanks to COVERITLIVE, you will all be able to participate in tonight’s live blog/live chat. We’ll be kicking things off at 6:45 p.m. (central time, of course).

The ArtSTALK crew? Nah...This is the cast and creator of "Mad Men," who grabbed the Globe for Best Drama Series in 2010. The ArtSTALK crew will have plenty of comments if the show repeats the feat tonight. (Image courtesy of the Hollywood Foreign Press, http://www.goldenglobes.com).

ArtSTALK Editor Melea Dau (@MeleaisGreat) and staff writers Lauren Sieben (@laurensieben), Anna Wiegenstein (@annawiggle), Rachael Lander (@Rach1003), Tommy Morgan, Jr. (@tmorganjr), Brian Dau (@ZomBrian86), Hannah Lawrence (@hjoneslawrence) and Patrick Bigsby (@PatrickBigsby) are all on Twitter so be sure to check in with them for their thoughts throughout the night. Keep a browser tab on ArtSTALK ‘s live blog/chat and some of your favorite staff writers might even show up .

Join Miss Fluker (who will also do some tweeting as well) for some cheers, some tears and a whole lot of jeers as we watch NBC‘s coverage of the 2011 Golden Globes, and don’t be afraid to add your two cents!
